Energy Tax Credit
Andersen windows and patio doors with High-Performance™ Low-E4™ glass can reduce energy bills by 25% in the summer and 10% in the winter*. Better yet, if you buy them now, most will qualify for a credit of up to $1500 on your federal income tax**. If that isn't beautiful, we don't know what is.
How to qualify for the Tax Credit:**
1. Purchase a qualifying Andersen window or door with Low-E or High-Performance™ Low-E4™ glass.**

2. Save your purchase record and window or door performance label with your tax documents.
3. Install after December 31, 2008 and before January 1, 2011.
4. Claim the tax credit within the current year associated with your purchase and installation.
Details:
1. Tax credit is for the cost of the product only- does not include installation costs.
2. Tax credit is 30% of the amount paid up to the maximums listed.
3. $1500 total maximum tax credit for any and all improvements.
*Based on a study of two identical homes comparing Low-E glass to dual-pane insulating glass. Actual savings may vary by geographic region.
